About

I am Annalyn Lehnig, an actress and writer living in New York City.

I am trained in physical theatre, playwriting, classical theater, clown, slapstick, dance improvisation, stage combat, voice-over, dialects, jazz, tap and ballet.  I’m a lush for collaboration and cross-disciplinary performance.

As a performer I’ve participated in several generative dance/theatre performance projects including Psycho Beach Party, Outlands, Alina and The Disposable Army, Port Architect (Skin Horse Theater) and Quinta Essentia (premiered at The New Orleans Fringe Festival), and You Turn (Alternative Collaborations). I co-wrote and performed in Mimicry, a whodunnit film noir inspired two-person show, with James Luster.

Just prior to the pandemic I was fortunate to be able to share my latest solo show, LAMB/WOLF. Presented with love by Triskelion Arts in Brooklyn.

In June of 2019 I wrapped “Break Up”, a short film with Ellen Maynard of The Fleet NYC. Currently in post production.

The Circus Lovesick, my beloved one -woman show, was last seen at Jalopy Theater in Brooklyn.

I am currently collaborating with Carly J. Hallman on a new play about widows. Stay tuned.
